JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Assist chefs in food preparation and cooking according to recipes and standards
  • Prepare ingredients (washing, chopping, portioning, marinating, etc.)
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards)
  • Assist in storing and labeling food items properly
  • Support in buffet setup, plating, and service when required
  • Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
  • Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 1–2 years of kitchen experience (4-5 star hotel, semi fine dine to fine dine upscale restaurant)
  • Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work long hours and shifts in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically fit and able to work onboard for 6–8 months contract
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a multinational environment
