JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assist chefs in food preparation and cooking according to recipes and standards
- Prepare ingredients (washing, chopping, portioning, marinating, etc.)
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards)
- Assist in storing and labeling food items properly
- Support in buffet setup, plating, and service when required
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1–2 years of kitchen experience (4-5 star hotel, semi fine dine to fine dine upscale restaurant)
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to work long hours and shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and able to work onboard for 6–8 months contract
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a multinational environment
